SOLIDARITY WITH UKRAINE
The eyes of the whole world have recently been fixed on the utter devastation and horrendous suffering in Ukraine.
Since February 24th when the Russian Army invaded their innocent neighbour there have been an estimated 4,600 civilian deaths, and over 14 million people have had to flee their homes.
The invasion has caused Europe’s fastest-growing refugee crisis since WWII.

The ongoing hostilities are costing the country’s infrastructure £3.6 billion per week.
And the human cost of suffering and misery, with atrocities being committed daily by invading marauders against defenceless women and children, the disabled, and the elderly, would be incalculable.
The entire war is indefensible and incomprehensible and onlookers from nations around the globe are rightly horrified and sickened by the heart-wrenching reports that are emanating from this brave but bloodied land!
Thankfully there has been a united and robust response from administrations around the globe revulsed by the inhumanity and barbarity they are witnessing, and fantastic efforts are ongoing to provide aid and succour to the beleaguered inhabitants of Ukraine who are surely going through tribulation and distress the likes that had not been experienced upon European soil since the 1940s!
